Location. The state where you choose to have a lasik laser surgery can also affect the price. If you compare the price of a Manhattan lasik eye surgery to a Bakersfield lasik surgery, the first will cost higher. The cost of having a lasik practice is higher in Manhattan than in Bakersfield. The commercial space is higher. The local taxes are higher. The prices of goods are higher. These are the reasons why prices are more expensive in metropolitan areas than in other places.

When you are asking for a quote from a lasik surgeon, you have to be sure that the price that they surgeon is giving you includes all fees meaning you don’t have to pay for additional costs or hidden fees.
